Yes sixcyl, it's a 1960 Chevrolet. Very little side trim make me think it's more akin to the Biscayne or Bel Air lines. I think Chevy wagons had their own model names in 1960. Not sure though.

In '60 the Biscayne wagon was the Brookwood. The Bel Air wagons were Parkwood (6pass) and Kingswood (9pass) and the Impala was the Nomad. Not sure which this is.

Wasn't there a model called the Yeoman?

I don't think so. I have been leafing through my copy of The Standard Catalog of American Cars. Back in around 1956 Chev did a base wagon called a Handyman and the Bel Air wagon was the Beauville but I can find no reference to a Yeoman. Studebaker used a few odd names for thier wagons in the '50s also.

Thanks for the info. I know I've seen that model name somewhere. Another reason to stay awake tonight!

Okay, I'm not insane (well mostly not). I did a Google search and found this:

Yes, but only in 1958.

This one was from 1960, and has four taillights, so it's not an Impala-based wagon.

Thanks for that Ddey, I had another look at the Standard Catalog - the Yeoman was the wagon in the base Del Ray series in '58.

Too much trim to be a Brookwood; must be a Parkwood or Kingswood.
