To be correct, the basic model of this car is called Satellite. When it gets upgraded, it can become a Satellite Sebring, a Roadrunner or a GTX. It is not available as a "Roadrunner GTX". As it is marked as a GTX, it is NOT a "Roadrunner". It is a 1972 Plymouth GTX... tho it is wearing 1971 fender stripes. -- Last edit: 2017-01-21 19:01:17 |

Thats a Subaru BRZ/Toyota GT86 beside the Corvette I think. -- Last edit: 2017-02-15 00:46:17 |

By 1972 the GTX was an option package on the Road Runner when equipped with a 440 engine. This might be somebody's hodgepodge project car as it appears to be a 72 model with some 71 GTX parts mixed in. -- Last edit: 2017-02-15 00:42:09 |

Somename is correct, jwrADPS is mistaken. Thought really, this is a hodgpodge whatever that's basically a real-world manifestation of a cartoon car as much as anything else in this franchise. |

Gary Gray nailed it with the shots that GTX have in the movie. And there are many more in the editing room, but strange is the fact that the Corvette Stingray is his favorite car from the movie but unfortunately the Corvette didn't have very good shots. |

I suggest this 2 shots as the main image of the car. |

Was the crash CG? It looks very fake. |

In 1972 GTX are used flat radiator grille? Not recessed with a vertical bar in the middle? |
