By the shape of the bonnet badge, Austin Mini Van. Registration plate for County Borough of Smethwick, 1937, more appropriate to a Midland Red FEDD bus. Proper draughtsmanship, some of this computerised junk is put to shame by this. -- Last edit: 2016-12-06 14:07:00 |

EHA 315 was an early 1938 plate issued from Smethwick; EHA 315D was a genuine 1966 combination, so might be what was intended. |

For what it's worth, there's a Mini van CG model on Turbosquid, but it has the wing mirrors on the doors. http://www.turbosquid.com/FullPreview/Index.cfm/ID/545863 |

^ Wing mirrors on doors was 1970s change - 1973+ on cars, possibly later on vans. I think round mirrors near windscreen like this was earliest style, with intermediate changes firstly to a further forward position and then rectangular/trapezium shape sometime in late 60s or later - maybe after Mini-as-make name change. |

Ribbed roof was about 1966+ - not sure of exact date - but still had roof vent for a few more years - again not sure exactly when but may be 1973. 1966 probably still the best answer for this one. |
