How sure is the 1970 date? My first impression is that is has a pre 1968 radiator grille and hub caps with huge chromed wheel embellishers, making me believe this is a 1966-67 250 S or SE (or very unlikely 300 SE). Are there any other captures? -- Last edit: 2016-11-28 18:51:16 |

This was the best capture there was - nothing closer. Vehicle was basically in motion the whole time, making an unblurred capture impossible. I'm not familiar with Australian licence plates. Is there any possibility the registration plate is issued at a later date than the manufacturing date for the car? Perhaps if unsold for a while, imported or got a different plate if sold to another state within Australia? Does cars get different licence plates if sold to another state? |
