Can't read enough of the plate to get a reliable reading, but I think it's 81-82 X or 82-83 Y suffix and probably a Birmingham factory issue like LOX or LOV. No chrome in bumper = base or L at launch (Sept 79), renamed to L and HL Dec 80, with coachline meaning Dec 80+ HL. (For reference the Sept 79 HL had tints, became HLS in Dec 80).
