To be fair, this design went by so many names it could be confusing; Austin Mini, Mini Cooper, Morris Mini Minor, Mini 1000, Austin Seven (not to be confused with the 1909-1911 or 1923-1939 Austin Sevens or the launch title for the Austin A30 when it debuted at the 1951 Earls Court Motor Show), Rover Mini Cooper, Rover Mini, Mini GT, and there's probably more I don't know of. Quite the contrast to Germany's small car which is either Type 1 or Beetle ![]() |
