@dsl - The vehicle above seems to have Bentley wheel covers - Link to "en.wikipedia.org" Which is why I said Bentley Continental -- Last edit: 2016-10-08 04:45:15 |

Alloys were available on the Rolls Royce too, anyway by the other cars in this pic this is from at least around 2000 so the car's old enough to have had wheels changed from original equipment. Continental tends to have an identification plate on each side of the bootlid: Sample 1: Link to "i.wheelsage.org" Sample 2: Link to "www.historics.co.uk" Sample 3: http://svs-ltd.com/detail.php?TableID=SPC&DetailID=239 Rolls Royce only has it on one side: http://i97.servimg.com/u/f97/16/55/03/78/1992co10.jpg By the size of the (cream trimmed) steering wheel boss this seems to have airbags, standardised only on the Corniche IV in Europe (but in the US from 1990). From 1994 they had taller headrests so no newer than that. |

Watched this part of the programme to see if there were any other clues. There wasn't though it did seem that there could be a badge on the left of the bootlid but that it was obscured by light reflected there. Nothing conclusive either way. -- Last edit: 2016-10-08 13:12:46 |
