"AR" indicates the car was registered in Hertfordshire, if that is of any help... |

This is the ca. 1903 Lanchester we have seen elsewhere. |

LANCHESTER is right. Should be 18 hp water cooled twin of 4073 cc as identified earlier by pilou. Although this film was shot later than 1904 because it was a Veteran Car Club event (from before 1939 probably). The vehicle details for AR 621 are: Date of Liability 01 11 2007 Date of First Registration 03 11 1932 Year of Manufacture Not Available Cylinder Capacity (cc) 4025CC CO2 Emissions Not Available Fuel Type Petrol Export Marker Not Applicable Vehicle Status Licence Not Due Vehicle Colour BROWN Vehicle Type Approval null -- Last edit: 2007-03-28 11:29:25 |

A brown 1903 Lanchester 12 hp Tonneau with registration No AR 621 entered the 2006 London to Brighton run. This was a 2 cylinder vehicle also. I just checked that the same way I mentioned under unknown car registration No CR 36. |

The car, with the number plate clearly visible, also features on a Wade pottery dish in their 'Veteran Cars' series, authenticated by the Veteran Car Club. It is described on the back as a 1903 Lanchester 2 cylinder 12hp Tonneau Body. |
