This is the gas turbine-engined Rover " Whizzer" roadster of 1952. It appeared in 1950 using the chassis of a 75 and a rear mounted 200 hp gas turbine.It was originally built with the " cyclpops" front but restyled with the new Rover front end .It is seen here on the Jabbeke straight in Belgium in 1952 where it was clocked at 151.965 mph over the flying kilometer. |

Sorry but you pointed to the sedan on the left.It is indeed a Rover 75 P4 model year 1950-1951.The other one is the gas turbine car as indicated. |
