pilou ◊ 2007-03-23 09:28	This is the gas turbine-engined Rover " Whizzer" roadster of 1952. It appeared in 1950 using the chassis of a 75 and a rear mounted 200 hp gas turbine.It was originally built with the " cyclpops" front but restyled with the new Rover front end .It is seen here on the Jabbeke straight in Belgium in 1952 where it was clocked at 151.965 mph over the flying kilometer.
