Quote 1978, White with Livery / Caviar Trim, Auto.

This is a Genuine Police Car and is reputed to be the last surviving Series 1 SD1.

It was a Met Police Area Car and it still wears its Livery, (which has never been removed), & is still fitted with Blue Lights , Ariel, Calibrated Speedo , Police Radio ( though the latter has been disconnected for obvious reasons!) & Original Minilites.

This car was sold by the Met Police to a Film Company and was used in the Film "American Werewolf in London" directed by John Landis -who also incidentally directed the Michael Jackson Thriller Video as a direct result of Michael Jackson having seen the film!

Subsequentally it has been either in museums or private collections, its last outing was to an Emergency Services Show were it was able to demonstrate it's Special power( Lights & Siren) legally!

The car is currently in dry storage but will be Serviced & MOT'd after Sale.

We are also able to offer a Series 1 2600 Parts Car & a Series 1 2600 engine that has covered 11,000 Miles from new by seperate treaty or as part of the package by negotiation, Further details on request.

This is an Unique opportunity to purchase a piece of British motoring heritage which could also act as a money spinner if hired out to TV & film production companies.

I don't think this is pictured at the 'American Werewolf in London' page, as the two cars pictured there have the other rim design (but the design here is the proper, more accurate Met Police one).
