Is "Supreme" a trim level or something like that? I thought that it was a separate model, or just part of the full name (but as I see that some of them have it as extra info rather than in their model name...) -- Last edit: 2007-03-20 17:49:31 |

I've always thought Supreme and Brougham on the Cutlass were trim levels. |

It depends. I think they were trim levels in the 70's, but in the 80's and early 90's, they were separate models. Google images for Cutlass Ciera, Cutlass Calais and Cutlass Supreme, and you'll find very different cars. |

After the 88/Eighty-Eight, another complicated name. Thanks to Oldsmobile |

Well I understand that the Ciera, Calais, and Supreme were all different cars (visually and aesthetically), but the confusion comes from the Supreme and Brougham as they were the same car (Malibu-based, one was a coupe, the other was a sedan). |
