Imppossible to be a LEYLAND NATIONAL. There is no Alexander Y type bodied LEYLAND NATIONAL. Only knows the body model is Alexander Y type. The car plate is too blur to guess. The bus in the screenshots can be a Alexander Y type bodied Leyland Leopard or Albion Viking.... Leyland Leopard PSU3C/3R in Clydeside colours seems pretty close - https://www.flickr.com/photos/tcd481j/16284920782/in/photostream/ - these may be post-privatisation re-liveries of earlier fleets. EGB 83T plate my best guess of what it reads onscreen - 90% confidence, so if wrong correct plate will be fairly similar. |

EGB52T might be our bus: https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7161/13843213994_503e8e6e70_b.jpg |

Agreed. I originally thought plate was 82T, but it died in 91 - 3 years before film date - so switched to 83T. "EGB 52T was a Leyland Leopard PSU3C/4R / Alexander (Belfast) Y Type B53F new to Central SMT as T320 in October 1978. It passed to the merged KCB fleet in 1989 and was loading in Wishaw on route 243 to Roadmeetings Hospital near Carluke. It was later sold to Clydeside 2000 in 1993 (468)." - https://www.flickr.com/photos/77000628@N02/13842857325 |
