A Town Panel would have a one-piece rear panel: it's more likely a Town Wagon (from the 1954-56 Dodge C-Series / Fargo FC-Series indeed) with concealed windows. The usual clue to define more precisly the model year would be to say "1954-55 windshield", but if this van has indeed the corresponding A-pillar, it shouldn't have a split windshield: (Excerpt of the 1954 Dodge ½-ton C-1-B6 & ¾-ton C-1-C6 models brochure) A strange "mongrelization" made after an accident sometime during the 16-year life of the van? The panel of the previous generation has clearly too many different details, so it can't be a modified one, here... Anyway, there's no detail to identify a Dodge model over a Fargo one, so the first make is only used here by default. -- Last edit: 2016-08-08 07:08:23 |
