I've often wondered same question about small UK van naming in Europe. 5cwt = (5x112)lbs = 560lbs = 233.33kgs. Would ¼ ton or ¼ tonne have been used?? But similar Thames 7cwt = 326.66kgs so more difficult to express cleanly. |

Interesting - suggests that one is closer to 7cwt than 5cwt. We have 11 assorted [301E]s to ponder what to do with. |
