Problem plate to read properly. Best guess is EMV or EMY, both Middlesex. EMV went to War Department, EMY was Nov 1936 into 1937 but tailed off with a late trickle to 1950. |

From more recent discoveries, 1938 Beardmore Paramount Ace Taxi MkVI by the bonnet's full length trim and one-piece windscreen without the horizontal split. More likely to be a late 1939 registration (there was no post-war manufacture) and could be EMY 884, I think. |
