Not really, this scene is supposed to be set in the early 60s, and the Mercedes Gullwing was made from 1955-1963. All the anachronistic vehicles in this film are listed here: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0352520/goofs

Although it's not exactly a typical showroom (but then these aren't ordinary cars) I don't see what about it anachronistic.

I remember watching this film, and as with many biographical films, it needs to be viewed with some suspension of disbelieve. I do remember that the cars seemed incorrect to any motorhead with a sense of history. That reflects poorly on the production in my estimation.
