Doesn't look like a chinese plate. Actually, the SUV reminds me of the export Chevrolet Blazer, built in Asia and South America. |

If it was an Isuzu, it would have been called a Trooper. What was the Chev equivalent? On the other hand, it looks a lot like a badge-engineered Subaru Forester - remember GM's stake in Subaru - could it be? |

I think it's a Chevrolet Blazer built by Jinbei-GM in 2001-2004. Jinbei and GM formed an unsuccesfull alliance in 1992 which included the production of Chevrolet S10, Blazer and TrailBlazer models. From 2005 on Jinbei-GM is known as Shanghai-GM Norsom and the only model currently in production is the Buick GL8 (Chevrolet Transport) which has been in production since 2004 and was up-dated in April 2005. |

First is SUV Chevrolet Blazer produced in Brazil, second Volkswagen Carat also produced in Brazil and Third is Chevrolet Corsa GLS produced in Argentina, similar to German Opel Corsa. Also brazilian pickup Chevrolet S-10 have same front that Blazer |

You're sort-of right, in that the Jinbei-GM Blazer was evidently based on the Brazilian version. The other two cars are a Shanghai-Volkswagen Santana and a Buick Sail (the Corsa). |

In Brazil Blazer with that gold thread in the body are of the version Executive, the most luxurious, as engine 4.3 V6 imported from USA and the option of automatic gear. |
