Safari ◊ 2011-07-20 08:37	It is a 1973 mexican made Thing with VW Acapulco Thing wheels but the rear fender does not show the proper bolts to fasten the Acapulco step under the doors nor the step, so it is very likely that it is only a normal VW Thing with some other car's wheels.
scirocco81 ◊ 2013-12-17 00:45	This Thing was never an Acapulco. It is a standard 73 that the original owner liked enough to add Jackman wheels and a transmission to accommodate. It lives somewhere in VA and I helped restore it in 1995. She still runs like a peach. Fun little car!
