@ahight: this "rust" is only paint. A failing try to create a wreck.

This model was sold as Station Wagon in the US. The rectangular side markers combined with its other spec indicate 1970/71.

That looks like 1973-79 version due to indicators above the headlight, except for the last thumbnail

I've been trying to find out the name of the picture car company that did the bus, I'd like to know the name of the blue color.. looks kind of like an original vw color, but it could be just an industrial blue,! like on a phone company pick up!.. I want to make my bus into a dharma clone.. it would be better of course if I had done it while the show was still on the air but, oh well.. I saw a lot of pix on line, they had 3 or more, one was a 67? had a split window, probably used it in distant rear shots so you couldent really pick it out..if anyone has any info I definetly appreciate it! my g mail is unclehotrod13@gmail.com google unclehotrod13 to see pix... thanks

Ok...just painted my bus. The white is just a bright white base .. and the blue I tried to be a sky blue.. also base.. hit it with a clearcoat. And had a Dharma magnet made.. and got some stickers...see it on you tube under unclehotrod13 or just google unclehotrod13 on google+ ... looks cool!
