For the small van. Only given a page because I don't recognise the grille. |

Here in NZ that is known as a 'barrelnose'. 1938 and 1939. |

I am not yet aware of Ford UK assembling a light (15-25 cwt?) van of this design. I have only found these as a 2-ton or 3-ton truck currently, as the 1937 Fordson V8 Model 79. |

Fordson 15cwt van introduced October 1937 It needs too be identified more fully, if possible. edit: It looks to share the same chassis and engine as this Fordson V8 'ARP' unit... -- Last edit: 2016-03-22 22:06:22 |

Model 85 I guess, if based on these... http://www.barrett-jackson.com/Events/Event/Details/1938-FORD-85-PICKUP-15563 http://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C585484 |

Following this discussion /vehicle_899816-Fordson-Sussex-79-1937.html this is the later 'Barrel Nose' front used from early 1939, not model 85, therefore would probably have an E-prefix chassis number. edit-For reference: German Ford van with similar Barrel Nose front design. -- Last edit: 2016-03-25 12:03:29 |
