Interior shot on the main page shows a ball-top automatic shifter, which should mark the car as a 1970. |

Somehow I feel Skid's ID is left in a vacuum, with no image to match... |

Someone wrote this on YouTube: "The car is a 70 Plymouth 'Cuda. It doesn't have the middle body "hip" line styling of the Challenger and the inner door handle has a line which only cudas have. The steering wheel and auto trans knob suggest it's a 70-71 (surely not a 72-74), and i think if it was a 71 you could barely have seen the "only '71 feature" fish gills. Of course fish gills had only performance models and that 'cuda WAS a performance model because it had a Dana60 rear axle." |

tore-40: The image is still present on the main page, so I'm not sure what you mean? It's this one: |

Guess I didn't realize it was the same un-id'd vehicle from the main page, but what about IHateFreedom's comment above? |

I checked it out, and I can't really see what the YouTube commentator is talking about. The center "hip" line wouldn't be visible from this low angle, and what little can be seen in the interior could be a 1970 'Cuda or Challenger. IIRC, the car was ID'd as a Challenger by the original uploader, and I only isolated the year, although it's certainly possible that it's a Plymouth. -- Last edit: 2020-08-04 04:38:40 |
