Either a 2 door or a front-hinge+rear-hinge 4 door. Can't read the plate well enough for a date. US made in UK??

1937 Cadillac Series 70. Four door with rear suicide doors; these didn't come as a two door sedan.

All Cadillacs of this period were built in the Clark Street Assembly, though there was a knocked-down chassis to make export easier. I guess that depends if your definition of "made" includes basic assembly of a kit.

I'd say it does. It would be consistent with how we treat a lot of UK stuff shipped to overseas assembly around the world.

I don't know for certain but I suspect, unlike Buicks which came from Canada for the UK market, Cadillacs were imported fully assembled from the USA. I am unaware of any overseas Cadillac assembly pre WW2 apart from the small number built by Holdens in Australia. With regard to the car here, how can we be sure it is a series 70??

I did a search and came up with some interesting stuff re Lendrum and Hartmans in Motor Sport archives written in the 1960s - Link to "www.motorsportmagazine.com" - http://www.motorsportmagazine.com/archive/article/october-1980/122/buick-gones
