Yes they are the auxiliary lights. With the 2004 facelift they replaced the front with a more conventional one Link to "static.classistatic.de" and the headlights were re-grouped

In 1999 the Fiat Multipla was displayed on an exhibition at the MoMA in New York due to its particular design.

Still look a little weird after the facelift ( speaking of general shape of it ) but the front sure looks better....

 Yes. Anyway it was a very comfortable vehicle. It would be great if Fiat would think to a replacement, although the new 500L Living could be considered as such (it would have been great if they would have called it 500 Multipla or something like that, IMHO)
