The bus I don't know, but on the left is an interesting Audi A2 ("tout-alu"); we don't have many of them on this site, yet. Btw, location is Van Baerlestraat crossing Paulus Potterstraat in Amsterdam

I would agree for the Audi if it was not hidden being the pole :o

DynaMike is definitely right on the Audi, this version is fitted with a fullsize sliding glass roof, a beautifull little piece of automotive design, though the grill, which isn't visible on this still, is an adition that they should have omitted, like they did on the conceptversion AL2, The bus I will have to check, though I would say it's a DAF or Volvo

john wrote It is a Volvo B10MA articulated bus with bodywork by Berkhof Heerenveen, model "Duvedec" (a model designed initially for Rotterdam in 1988 by design company Duvedec = Dutch Vehicle Design Company). The bus in the picture has a tapered rear end and is in the colours of the former company NZH, which was one of the constituents of Connexxion in May 1999. That makes it one of the following series of buses:
7160-7173 of 1996
7174-7188 of 1997
9000-9014 of 1998
9050-9059 of 1999

Most of those were/are based on services to Amsterdam. If the approximate date of the picture is known I could look at garage allocation. Given the site of the shot the bus would be on a service from the south of Amsterdam to the central station, which would mean the bus was based at Aalsmeer, Uithoorn, Hoofddorp or maybe Haarlem.
