On a 1975 model they would be chromed. Black ones were not fitted until 1979.

Sunbar ◊ 2007-02-21 11:54	I believe it was possible to buy the FX4 without all the taxi fittings. Some celebs and businesses are know to own them. They were popular as an easier method of getting around London. However 'Austin/LTI FX4' (or FX3) should be sufficient for listing here. It is different for the earlier 1930s style cab. I believe Austin 12/4 taxi is necessary as it is very different from an Austin 12/4 saloon built on the same chassis.
