The sketch here is that the farmer in the tractor waits on a side road looking for a motorist to travel along the main road ..so he can pull-out in front of them, just before the 8-mile stretch of roadworks & No overtaking.! (very nasty, as you can see from the smirk on his face.!) -- Last edit: 2007-02-17 23:07:13 |

Very possibly Ford as here..... /vehicle_87898-Ford-5000.html Could be a slightly smaller model, say Ford 3000. |

That is NOT a Ford tractor. DEFINITELY a David Brown-CASE model revealed by the proportions of wheels cab differential, the shape of the mudguards and the roof of the factory cabin, & the white/orange/black colours used. Most likely DB-CASE model 1490. Although there is much to speculate as the period and manufacturer produced a vast array of similar appearance machines in that approximate size and exact layout. For example thier model 1694 , or the 2390, & all others in that range of 4000 Ib.+ models. The orange tranmission is a strong indicator to the period.See image at http://profile.imageshack.us/user/jacksonkolecoltd2012/ |
