![]() ![]() ![]() There is another limousine of the same style (I think the one called Coupé de Ville), for a tinyy part and a mere three-second shot: ![]() 00:05:16 I think it is not the same (besides the fact it plays another part), but I think also that nobody would identify it, so it'll only grace the commentaries. |

This is not a Rolls-Royce, the radiator mascot resembles the Cigogne Volante of a Hispano Suiza, or maybe that seen on an Isotta Fraschini. The coachwork style is referred to in America as a "Salamanca", but looks to me to be a closed drive landaulette, although the driver's roof may be a removable hard top. It also looks very similar, but not identical, to this: - /vehicle_54604-Isotta-Fraschini-Tipo-8A-1929.html or, more likely, this may be the actual car: - /vehicle_62931-Isotta-Fraschini-Tipo-8A.html So, I'll go nap on an Isotta Fraschini Tipo 8A. -- Last edit: 2016-01-09 12:50:13 |

I agree, the Isotta Fraschini Tipo 8A seen in 'Rebecca' 1940 looks as though it could be the same car. |

(Rrrhhh… shame on me.) "Transformable" or "Trasformabile"? And the one in the thumb, any idea? |

Origin Italy, not UK. |

The one in the thumb could be almost any large car from the evidence in the picture. |
