You could have said /vehicle_785571-Vauxhall-Light-Six-DY-DX-1935.html as well. It looks like the two movies have many 'French cars' in common.

I went for the one I did because I thought it showed the body shape from the side for easy comparison.

But I only used you to boost my very intelligent remark on the common car-park of the movies, John. Naturally, your pic was far better.

We have few cars listed as 14 h.p. model. Which one is correct?

You cannot tell from this picture, so it may be either Twelve or Fourteen horsepower. Many British manufacturers offered engines of different horsepower in identical coachwork, as the horsepower dictated the annual taxation. So the thrifty bought the Twelve horsepower, and the performance minded bought the Twenty, or whatever.

As I said before: -

DY 1530 cc, ( or Twelve horsepower) DX 1781 cc, (or Fourteen horsepower) but same sheet metal. Never among my favourite cars, 1930s Vauxhalls sold well, but were not very long lasting and by the fifties when I was starting to know what I was looking at, those that were left were very scruffy. I think that you got a lot of car for your money, with the inevitable loss of quality that follows.
