dsl ◊ 2016-01-03 18:25	What's the event?? One of those motoring press days they used to organise (was it done by the RAC??) at MIRA track?? I vaguely remember articles in late 60s Motor and Autocar for press track days once a year when everybody bought their latest cars to be driven round by Fleet Street's finest. And the bloke who did occasional car articles in the Birmingham Post.

dsl ◊ 2017-02-08 23:29	XOE 778 was "Zoe" - Pat Moss's works car, rallied successfully on several events in 1959 including winning Ladies Cup and 10th o/a on 59 Monte (#208) after starting from Paris. Still survives after restoration in early 1980s, but has not been seen for several years. Modelled by Vanguards VA11200 Moss won Ladies Cup again and 17th o/a in 1960, but in a different A40 (red, 947 AOF, #26). Seen several times in this Pathe-for-BMC promo film of the 1960 rally "Road To Monte Carlo"
