Driven by Fredrick Moffitt a local Darlinghurst cab driver and Boer War vet. He was later shot and killed by James "Big Jim" Devine; the husband of Tilly Devine by accident on Long Bay Road in Maroubra on the night of the 16th January 1931. A passer-by who spotted the cab parked on an angle, went to check the cab and found Moffitt's body huddled over the steering wheel. -- Last edit: 2018-07-07 19:00:07 |
