Police cars.
One is [GPA846],

the other…

… reads something like [DLM456].

Could they by chance be of the same kind, or even the same, than those two?

Series II Wolseley.

GPA is Surrey County Council, October 1937.
DLM is London County Council, starting in November 1936, running until December 1937, which is a bit odd.

These dates suggest Series II cars.

Details on GPA 846 look identical to this 14/56 (which might also be 18/80 as comment there). 14/56 had kink in front bumper - example - so possibly lead car in 2nd thumb. Can't spot anything definitely different about DLM 456 or the following car in 2nd thumb.

So confirm as 1937 14/56??

The kink in the bumper is also present on the Super Six Sixteen and Twenty One horsepower models, produced 1935 to 1937.
I don't see enough to go for anything more than I have already said.
