Early 3s were i and s trims. Touring and Gran Touring trims aren't listed in the guides until 2006. |

THe Mazda 3 was introduced in two versions, the base i with the 2.0l engine and the s with the 2.3l. The i only came in the sedan, the s in hatch and sedan. The i has a different grille. -- Last edit: 2015-12-09 04:42:54 |

"i" must be equivalent to GX ( base ) or GS ( mid ) while "s" is GT's US counterpart... i hope i'll remember... Thanks for the info Here GX was sedan 2.0 /GS was 2.0 in sedan form, 2.3 in hatch ( called GS Sport ) / GT was 2.3 for both sedan and hatch ( called GT Sport ) GS Sport got the 2.0 somewhere in 2007 or 2008 but i don't know if the 2.3 was optionnal -- Last edit: 2015-12-09 06:31:15 |
