The 400 CID V8 is actually a 402 CID Big Block V8 with either a 2 or 4 barrel carb, Chevy did make a 400 small block V8 but I doubt that they would've used it in C10, C20 or C30 pickups, Especially C20 & C3o pickups equipped with camper packages since the 400 small block was prone to overheating due to its "Siamesed" cylinder design,. |

This truck is a 1971 or '72 2WD "Cheyenne Super" which was the top of the line trim level until the the more luxurious "Silverado" trim level was introduced on both the pickups & the Suburbans in '75, The hubcaps on this truck are later model hubcaps that were first offered on 1977 Chevy & GMC Pickups, Vans, Blazers, Jimmys & Suburbans. |

Mounting of windshield mirror would pinpoint year. |

Doesn't the fender emblem say 30? No black stripe around the grille: a 1972 MY only? -- Last edit: 2015-03-29 03:09:15 |
