September 1989+ grille, with the plastic bar on the upper part. As the 1993+ logo moved back to the center of the grille, it should be visible here if present: this van is a 1990-1992 model. |

@eLMeR - september '89 is indeed to find in few places of the web, on the other hand here, French claim it was march of 1989 and this way it was before the double rear doors became the standard feature. This is in fact the 1st source where I was able to find the exact date of rear doors change (earlier it had to be narrowed down by elimination among used cars for sale), but in case of grille they maybe can be wrong, as there is for example this car - old grille, but double doors... -- Last edit: 2016-08-13 13:43:24 |

I wouldn't trust too much the French Wiki page about the C-15, Weasel1984: it was often modified by "IP addresses" contributors, including for the 1st facelift date (which was set as September 1989 until last year). It was first modified into July and 2 hours later into March, both dates without giving any external reference nor explanation... For the record, the same "IP contributor" gave the 2-door info a few hours before. Here again without any source. And the C-15 page was the only one on which (s)he wrote on, at least with this IP address. We can see here the limits of the Wikipedia pages, for me: as long as no external references are given, their content should be used knowledgeably and with caution, all the more when contributors remain anonymous (thus preventing to compare with their previous works, if any). |
