@ rjluna2: it has the 1974+ roof opening too. @ Gamer: Car means coach / bus in French. This said, your information is truncated: as camper, the sales name of this version was Camping-car. @ Gamer: When asked for a source, please avoid internal info, as it is sometimes (often?) unsourced or undocumented. And it is even more a disservice to you when you transmit this information without understanding the way it was really used... The Car name, with the meaning explained in my previous comment, seems indeed to have been used for some early T2 models, but only for the Combi (French version of Kombi, of course ) when provided with rear bench seats. As said here (fr): Next step: see how long this name was used, as it's unknown even to T2 owners I know |
