I do not know if it is a descriptive name, as you suggested, or really a "make". There are two on http://www.svvs.org/gallery-brighton5.shtml and some of the results of a Google search on 1900 Mobile Steamer make me think that it may really be the car name (or a car name, I do not know if it is the name of the one on the picture ![]() |

From that page it seams 'Mobile' is actually a brand name. I will look into this. But the vehicles there and the one on this page are not very similar. |

Mobile was an American brand. Doesn't seem very likely to appear in a British film of 1900. |
