I assume this is a steam machine becasue of the large smoke stack and what looks like a boiler. The only steam, road roller I can find with the stack on the back is Aveling and Porter. |

Kept me busy, this little machine. I have found a sibling, a petrol engined but otherwise identical Aveling-Barford 2½ ton Road Roller from ca. 1933: The steam version might be slightly older or was even produced at the same time as the petrol engined version. |
