Theis was used in the Michael Caine music video in 1984 and, coincidentaly was the sax player, Lee Thompson's Jaguar, it was a 1959-1967 Jaguar MKII, I know beacause, A , by coincindent in 2009 the band revealed a song called MKII about a man and his Jag, and B, I am looking at a book of Jaguars and comparing the bodies and if you examine the front bumpers you'll notice one has the "stacked chrome bumpers" and the others don't. |

I misread the post about the car being a 240 sorry. |

Reading my comments again more than three years later I can understand its not that clear. The 2.4/240 came from a car-check website, so they didn't distinguish between the earlier Mk.II and the 240. After checking the DVLA website it appears the car has not been taxed since October 2007. Hopefully its not been scrapped and is in a reasonable condition. |

A 240 has thinner single bumpers, no spotlights as standard, and, if you look at the interior, cheaper plastic upholstery. |
