Like the contemporary Oldsmobile Ace, the body from the firewall back was designed and built in Australia. The front clip, trim, drivetrain, and chassis were imported from America (unclear if Canada or US) in pieces and assembled in Australia. I'm still looking for solid information on what model names they used. Silver Streak may have been the official name. There is also this Australian Pontiac called Torpedo and this one called Silver Arrow but in both cases the trim is different from our subject here. -- Last edit: 2015-09-15 04:32:46 |
