About those BX/FX/BZ/FZ, this is what is said here Link to "www.toyota-global.com"

Quote A successor to the Model BM, the Model BX was the first regular-sized truck that Toyota designed from scratch after the Pacific War. Production began in June 1951. The frame was completely revamped, and the front body adopted modern styling. The cab was stretched wider to expand the interior space, and the windows were made larger and ventilation was improved, significantly adding to the level of passenger comfort. The passenger capacity was increased from two to three.

Many improvements were made to the engine and the chassis to enhance their reliability and durability. In October 1951, three variants of the BX were introduced, including the FX with a 3.9-liter 95 hp engine (Type F), the FZ which shortened the wheelbase of the FX, and the BZ which was also a short-wheelbase version of the FX but equipped with a Type B engine. The FZ and BZ had a payload capacity of 2.5 tons. In June 1953, the Type B engine was enhanced from 82 hp to 85 hp.

(Then came the BA/FA, february 54, upgraded versions of BX/FX.)
