The person largely responsible for the SZ design was Antonio Castellana. Da Silva (much as Zagato himself and others) proposed some initial concepts that were later on discarded, the letter Z was kept because the total output was bodied at Zagato´s plant. Andrea Zagato was far more involved in the final design of the RZ (that is the roadster version). Although limited (1,036 units) the SZ was a production and not a concept car. http://home.wxs.nl/~evdbeek/szstory02.html -- Last edit: 2007-04-09 22:04:28 |

Since the concept is so close to the production SZ couldn't this be grouped with the other SZ's instead of hanging here out in the wilderness all by itself? Could be named SZ ES 30 Concept or something. Just an idea. -- Last edit: 2022-01-27 19:53:50 |
