For early ones "Zhiguli" name is is ok in entire COMECON. Unfortunately not enough details of this car is visible to date it more exactly. -- Last edit: 2015-08-10 21:21:27 |

VAZ 2103 Zhiguli is default name, like it has been stated above. More pics is needed to say can it be later Lada. |

In the linguistic usage of the DDR "Schiguli" was nearly entirely said to early Ladas in official use (police, military, Stasi etc.), commonly the DDR-people said always "Lada" -- Last edit: 2015-08-15 17:44:12 |

New pic makes it 1976+ (can be already Lada this way). |

Is there a closer view on the (West German) sign on the door? I think, it shall be the "White House", the West German "embassy" in East-Berlin. http://data6.blog.de/media/974/4498974_107df4d494_m.jpeg http://germanhistorydocs.ghi-dc.org/images/Staendiger%20Vertreter%20BDR1.jpg I'm not sure, if the gentleman on the last pic was the first owner of my favourite piece in my collection, but it's not unlikely https://imageshack.com/i/hlIOeKSNj -- Last edit: 2015-08-19 12:50:12 |
