any view on the plate? It's the bigger one, so it's at least 200ccm. |

I couldn't find anything matching here: http://www.dkw-motorrad-club.de Can we conclude it is not a DKW? -- Last edit: 2015-11-15 11:09:34 |

actually it is not a DKW 175 - 250 ccm but seems to be related to that brand, how could this be?! Well, while DKW cars were under Daimler egide that period DKW motos formed the Zweirad Union together with other Nurembergian makes like Victoria and Express, there have been more than 30 makes in Nürnberg put together to a conglomerat similar Auto Union Victoria for e.g. survived as abrand of bicycles -- Last edit: 2016-01-21 23:13:47 |

sure about a 125ccm? Note the large plate not in KKR-size. |

yes, i see it is larger engine as 125ccm had circular clutch on the right side and spelled ILO not JLO some brands with ILO 175 : Bücker , Dürkopp , Geier , Göricke , Hecker Hercules , Hoffmann , Maico , Rabeneick Rixe und Tornax around 1948 any guy that could hold a wrench seems to have put this engine in a frame -- Last edit: 2016-04-27 01:36:40 |
