I can't date it, even by default MY. 1953? 1954?

Question: shouldn't we call them "Hino Renault 4CV"—just like we have "Isuzu Hillman Minx" or "Nissan Austin A40"?

I read here:
Quote The 4CV was also manufactured in Japan under licence by Hino Motors, Ltd. from 1953-1961, rebadged as the Hino Renault 4CV.

See eg http://2000gt.net/Hino/4CV.php , Link to "www.forum-auto.com" - both in your sort of foreign, so you can probably make more sense of them than I can. There was a good English language accounrt a couple of years ago with factory pictures, but can't find it now.

This one looks small rear window so 1954-56.

.... and Link to "boitierrouge.com" . Found the English language one - Link to "www.hinosamurai.org" - but it keeps collapsing.

Well, well, well (oh, well). Then, since most of time (yes!) I read Hino 4CV, and sometimes Hino Renault 4CV, let's reach to an agreement: I am going to call all of them "Hino Renault 4CV". (It'll make it easier to search for 4CV lovers.)

Don't mention it, you're welcome.
