This one in particular is a 1982 model, 1982 was the first year that they no longer had fender gills or a slotted bumper, fun fact, while Ford's went to having a solid bumper in 1981 (1979 and 1980 models have a slotted bumper), the Mercury kept the slotted bumper a whole year more, look up some pictures of 1981 models for nobody who believes me, and then compare them to pictures of 1982 models, and 1983+ models use a completely different grille, so it definitely isn't a 1983+ model, this car, in particular, is a "1982 Mercury Grand Marquis [54L]" -- Last edit: 2024-12-31 15:29:23 |
