We can quickly rule out Buick and Pontiac, leaving us Oldsmobile and Chevrolet. 1973 Oldsmobile Vista Cruiser: 1973 Chevrolet Chevelle Laguna Estate (Chevelle Malibu Estate also offered, more or less identical from A-pillar back): The top of the wood trim was below the door handles on the Oldsmobile and even with the door handles on the Chevrolet. Crucially, on the Chevrolet the top of the wood trim also intersects the fuel filler and the tab to open it was on the bottom, matching what we see here. The Oldsmobile's fuel filler was opened from the rear. This car is either a 1973 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu Estate or a 1973 Chevrolet Laguna Estate. Malibus were more common, I think, and after looking at the brochure this looks more like the Malibu upholstery. -- Last edit: 2015-07-22 21:01:53
