![]() ![]() ![]() Two full minutes of it from the rond-point des Champs-Élysées to the RCF installations. Registred in the UK (no explanation for this). -- Last edit: 2015-07-18 21:58:41 |

1946 Morgan 4/4. Registration is Worcestershire County Council, so I wonder if this car was supplied by the factory which is in Malvern. New cars of any kind were in very short supply in 1946. -- Last edit: 2015-07-18 22:45:00 |

Were the roads really so bad in 46 that you needed 2 spares (and therefore sacrificed a boot)?? |

This is supposedly a sports car. Two tyres were needed with a blockier tread pattern for hill climbs/prod car trials, and two with a pattern similar to the front wheels for circuit events. Your toothbrush and spare pair of shreddies went in the glove box. |

he style of lettering on the plates looks distinctly French to me and unlike any real British number plates. |

Even I wasn't around in 1946, but the index is definitely Worcs, March 1946, and the car carries a GB plate and a very British looking tax disc holder. It is also almost new judging from the complete lack of scratches and stone chips. |
