To me, this car is just a full-sized (for an English car) Austin Mini with the grille flipped upside-down and 4-doors. |

Fair enough - it had the same designer (Alec Issigonis) and the same innovative front wheel drive layout, expanded upwards to medium family car size. And it sold very well around the globe for 10 years, and despite several faults, many folk in UK and elsewhere have fond memories of ADO16s. Strange colours on this one, modern door mirror looks weird, and a peculiar gizmo above the door - for filming?? |
