As for every other cars but the Citroën (and the wrecker) seen in the opening and closing sequences, this Packard is shot motionless, in the hotel garage. |

This one is a mystery. It certainly looks to be a Packard, a 1938 120 from the mouldings on the hood side seen in the thumb pic, but I have never seen one with a fold down windshield. This Custom body is quite sensible indeed since the chauffeur stresses the way the doors are opening, an unusual way, "like an accordeon". Doesn't it ring some bells? I think this one /vehicle_815667-Graham-1939.html (bodied by Saoutchik)had the same device. |
