Weasel1984 ◊ 2015-06-27 21:25	Simply first they were badged as VAZ 2xxx Zhiguli in COMECON states, but quickly the name Lada started to be in use (with exception of the Soviet Union), what was followed by rebadging to "Lada" in 1976/1977 (matter of model). But worth to note that already before 1977 the name Lada was to meet in case of COMECON export markets - in price lists, articles etc. The border date was once narrowed down to 1975. Maybe thing is worth to rethink, maybe it is worth to ignore "price lists" and similar local materials and use badges only as base for identification... Disputable. -- Last edit: 2015-06-27 21:28:23
